I bought my '03 wagon exactly a year ago for $16k flat, with 11,300 miles. Granted, it wasn't in the Bay Area but there are good deals out there if you look for them.

I have seen WRX sedans go for 14k stock with 40K miles.
My search and hopes will continue. I always tend to be 1 day too late.
I may take other colors if the price is right, but I really have my eyes set on black or silver.
