WTB: WRX Dash Piece $30
Got a carbon fiber kit and don't know what to do with the old plastic? I need one piece for my dash. Here it is:
Must not have any scratches on it, since the reason I'm buying it is because my current panel is scratched. Thanks!

I have the old dash pieces lying around. That said, I know that I have a minor scratch on one of the three following :
I'll try and dig it out tonight and let y'all know.
- Piece Joe wants
- Piece Kuonji wants
- The Cupholder

Got a chance to look.
The part that Kounji wants has a small (i.e. about 1mm long) scratch in the lower left panel of it.
The part that Joe wants is basically mint. There are a couple of VERY minor surface scratches in it, but not enough to go thru the paint on the plastic part. In other words, you'd never see the scratches when the part was installed in the car.
If you're still interested, PM me.

Joe : pm sent.
Kuonji : no problem.
Seraph : that is normal on the cupholder. Other than possibly needing to SLIGHTLY adjust it (takes about 2 minutes with a screwdriver), it sounds like it is working as designed. No need to let the dealer molest the car over that one

Hate to do this and give the late notice, but looks like I'm not gonna make UCKK tonight. A meeting popped up that I forgot about....
No no you don't understand, i guess i was understating when i said it sucks on the pullout.......because i can't even pull it out
I push it in and it stays stuck in.
Cupholder in mom's 02 wrx > my 04 STi's

Seraph : my cupholder (in my WRX) used to do exactly what you're describing. Like I said, slight adjustment of the 2 screws that hold it in fixed it
. Quick tap dead center on it quickly will probably get it to release so you can access those screws.
Unless, of course, you WANT the dealer to say something like "OK, we fixed this cupholder.....time to go TEST DRIVE this guy's car on Skyline Blvd to make sure the fix worked"
