Talking also looking

not trying to steal your post-
just offering the dozens of club members that will surely respond to your needs out since you probably only want to buy one set.

if you contact original poster (carnut) and he already found a set of crossbars, you can try contacting me, b/c I am also intrerested.

hey...no I'm not! You posted first but if multiple people have bars they want to sell, and you've already bought a set, this alerts them to the opportunity, too.

I should just posted a new thread: "WTB: crossbars. I'll pay $10 more than Carnut!!!!" and it would have been above your's (unless you gave yourself a little self-indulgent bump) but that's not the kind of guy I am. That would have been "tacky".

By doing it this way, no one's going to even see my post unless they read yours first b/c they DO have bars to sell!

I thought it was the considerate way to do it. There can be multiple buyers and multiple sellers- that's what "free trade" is all about.

Good luck finding crossbars. I'm in no real hurry but I wanted to get my interest out there, too.

Hey, not trying to steal your post, but you should ignore the previous /\/\/\ 4 posts in this thread /\/\/\

Just kidding... you should check out www.subaruparts.com and www.subaruwrxparts.com and see what they are going for new to make sure you are getting a good deal.

Sold! To the highest offer. I'm looking forward to possibly getting a Forester for my wife next year. In the mean time, I am really enjoying the Miata, especially with the sunshine these couple of days.

Good luck in your search for the crossbars. I sold mine a while back for $70.

LSD was available on most models. The only ones that didn't have it was the base model and the models with auto trans. If you are seriously looking, I would recommend doing all your research first. Start with www.miata.net. It's a really good resource, before and after you get the car. If you plan on modding it, I recommend getting a pre-96 non-OBD-II car. There is a lot of discussion of the difference between the 1.6 and the 1.8 motors. You can decide for yourself on that one.

I have the 94 1.8 A-package with LSD.
