Hi all.
My dad is looking for something more fuel efficient than Jeep. Not looking for anything really expensive. Just something that he can use to commute to work.
Probably prefers something that is street legal and if possible, a wagon, but wouldn't mind considering a sedan or coupe. Let me know.
TIA.

if he wants fuel efficient tell him to get a TS wagon or something like that...or a honda. Subaru's are not known for their fuel economy. Shoot..I'm stoked to see 23mpg in my car.

w3rd. That is the only thing that holds back my fiance from getting a subie. Damn crappy gas mileage. I get on average 17-19mpg depending on highway/city driving. Plus I hit boost every time I shift.

Well... anything up from the Jeep would be great. Dad actually checked out the dealership and liked what he saw. He kind of prefers a non turbo though. My little L on the last tank got me about 23.9 mpg.
hey let your dad know if he is interested i'll sell him my 2002 jetta gl it's a 5spd pwr windows, ac,and etc it's my current commuter. I just did a major tune up myself I changed the belts, sparkplugs, air filter, oil, oilfiter, and fuel filter. Car has about 112xxx miles on it. Will sell for $8k. Great on gas clean title plus if he buys this car I can start looking for a new project car! pm me!:deep6:
