Hi all.

My dad is looking for something more fuel efficient than Jeep. Not looking for anything really expensive. Just something that he can use to commute to work.

Probably prefers something that is street legal and if possible, a wagon, but wouldn't mind considering a sedan or coupe. Let me know.

TIA.

I dunno. I like my 2,760 lb chassis. Even if I did that... $3000 value maybe...

I dunno if I could afford to finance an STi right now, not to mention I have to pay my own car insurance...

if he wants fuel efficient tell him to get a TS wagon or something like that...or a honda. Subaru's are not known for their fuel economy. Shoot..I'm stoked to see 23mpg in my car.

w3rd. That is the only thing that holds back my fiance from getting a subie. Damn crappy gas mileage. I get on average 17-19mpg depending on highway/city driving. Plus I hit boost every time I shift.

I'm down around 19-21. But I'd say 90% of my mileage is non traffic.

Well... anything up from the Jeep would be great. Dad actually checked out the dealership and liked what he saw. He kind of prefers a non turbo though. My little L on the last tank got me about 23.9 mpg.
