I know they are all pretty universal, my 07 STi changer quit working and I'd like to get a replacement. Was gonna go aftermarket but I really don't want to deal with it and I know I can install a stock unit in like 5mins, so that's the route I'm taking.


Anyone have one?

What happened to it? Mine stopped working aswell and took it apart and realized the CD shuffling system stopped moving the CD's around and got stuck in between loading one. So no cd can play...

 

Funny that's exactly what happened to mine. Dammit.

 

i got an 06 cd changer from my sti. was thinking about going aftermarket but not sure yet. ill see whats out there and let you know if youre interested.

 

If you open it up, the changer is one unit connected to the rest of the stereo by a removable wire. I "believe" that other years stereos can possibly be oPened up and the changer/shuffler unit removed and connected to yours/our years...but havent tried it yet

 

If you decided to sell it let me know.

 

I have an 02/03 changer. You can have it if you come get it.
