all rotors will rust after the initial protection layer is off of them, the very first time you apply the pedal after install the rust is gone. I went to malaysia for 6 weeks and came back and my wilwoods looked like crap. It took one gentle brake to rub the rust off then they were great after that. I have seen quite a few good sets of big brakes here, you just need to learn what you're looking for and not be concerned with things like rusty rotors. If they are reasonably low mileage you can usea wire brush to clean up the hat then take them and have them turned and they will look new again.

first of all i am well aware that ROTORS rust if left out and not used. however, i have seen many kits for sale that have been neglected to a point that the rotor was rusted so bad that it was in need of replacement or needed to be heavily machined, and yet these guys were asking 900+ for their brembos, not to mention the calipers were so scratched that they needed a new powdercoat. secondly, i am aware of the many bbks that have passed through here recently, but i dont want to spend more money for rotora because of what i have heard about them, i havent been able to find a sufficiently good and cheap set of stoptechs, and i dont really want wilwood. on top of that, brembo would just look good under my bbs, so its kinda a part of my goal. thanks for the concern, and i sent a pm to the other guys. much appreciated!
