Do they make a yellow top that fits wrx yet? I thought I recall there was some modding involved...

that is correct.

The costco ones are not like that, they have the terminals on the other side and it doesn't work with the WRX w/o modding the cables

Yellow tops are not out yet with the reversed cables.

Can you revive a dead one? I have one that sat in my Celica for about 6 mos and then wouldn't charge after driving around for 40 min or so. A friend said if you throw a charger on it for a couple days it will come back but I have no idea. If you want it, it's yours. Not sure if it's worth it. But otherwise I would go to Costco, that's where I have gotten mine.

generally speaking...yes. Optima batteries and all batteries of the type or designed to be capable or running dead and recharging. I think it's like 40 times for the red top. But after 6 months....who knows.

Well anyone is welcome to take it. I just realized I have another one in my GT-4 that's been sitting dead for a year and a half. Haha.. Woo - I am a dead Optima collector.
