Right now I have 18's on stock suspension.

I would like to get rid of that hideous gap but at the same time have somewhat of a decent ride (not to harsh or stiff) since my car is sometimes used on the weekends with the wife and daughter.

I would go with prodrive or eibach then. No matter what though the front is going to be a bit higher.
Only way to truely get it the way you want is with coil overs.

I had eibach sportlines on my civic hatchback and the ride was great. I just didn't like how high the front sat compared to the rear.

How are prodrives?
