update:
WTB: OEM underseat sub, busted 5spd, 08 STi steering wheel
Now, as many of you may know, I was in the work of building an RSTI swap for my BRP 02 RS. THe RS engine blew its headgaskets and I sold STI build to fund RS rebuild. Im done with the RS rebuild (just need a valve adjustment and smog test). But, now im looking to pick up another STI project. I wont be looking to buy immediately as im going to look for the best deal out there (spun bearings, rod knock, bent valves, stripped syncros/gears, mostly used parts with obvious new ones). My plan is to either find a used low mileage Sti shorty or pick up one of LIC's new "pinned" pinned blocks as well as add so more strength and support to those cylinders. going to using all forged internals rated to 800HP but initially build it to OEM Sti specs and power numbers. then build up frpm there. dual AVCS? transmission im looking for OE STI (still debating on year, heard different things of different years) and going to run RA setup. i may do some research and go with a custom ratio in tranny and diffs to get her off the line faster.
So, whos got some broken parts for me???? Again, not looking to buy right now, i want this thread to keep circulating and people to add their broken down parts and ill keep bumping until i find the right parts. not trying to be a cheap *** here. but with the parts and build im going for, yes, ill save on labor since im doing all the work myself, but all forged internals, RA gears, turbo, IC, etc., aint cheap!
Let me know whos got what!
-Busted engines
-Stripped trannys and diffs
-Blown turbos
-Engine accs (starter,alt,ac comp,)
-ANYTHING USDM STI!
Thanks I Club!

help!
trying to research the cross compatibility between 02 WRX and 02 RS AC compressors. so far all im seeing is that there is a harness connector wiring issue. my main concern is the hose fittings. ive heard WRX are larger than RS, ive also heard theyll cross fit no problem!
Im about to buy a used WRC AC comp. off a fellow member and i want to make sure itll fit on my RS. anyone with and RS done this?

Bumping my WTB thread:
1) OE low mileage mid pipe (cats)
2) RS AC compressor

going to order all new o2 sensors and hope my rich, hesitant, fuel burning RS will start behaving. LOL. cats i know are shot due to my lack of intelligence when installing new intake manifold lines...
im ordering brand new sensors, but the cats....if i wanted to throw that much bank on an OE exhaust part, id buy a used complete system! LOL
