You can't. Do what I did and go to a muffler shop and have them cut the resonator out and weld in some 3" pipe...cost me $80. Was well worth the raspy sound. I drive an 07 wrx with full invidia turbo back 3" with a g200 titanium/n1 muffler.

 

You're from sac!? I can refer you to a local place off the freeway who can do it in 45 minutes.

 

I'm just worried that what if it doesn't sound as good as it did with the resonator, wont be a clean look on the pipe to have one back on. Yea I'm from Sacramento. Also would I have to take off the midpipe? or would they do all of that at the shop

watched some youtube vids, one sounds good with the delete, the other one sounds raspy/ricey..

 

What I did was to have them make me a custom midpipe so they wouldn't cut off my original piping and just run two midpipes whenever you want resonated or non resonated

 

yea I like that idea, been trying to find the n1 race midpipe I guess its hard to come by..

might just try to get an invidia dp and maybe itll sound good enough for me not to get the n1 race midpipe
