mine are horrible. From DDM tuning, it sucks. They ran out and they only work once in a while. Would touching the bulb have anything to do with this or electrical issue? I put 4k bulbs in my foglights and they stopped working also..idk..

you're not suppose to touch HID bulbs with your bare hands...

the bulb gets really hot and the oils left behind from you finger changes the way the glass reacts to the heat.

+1 for DDM as well, I have two sets, although one bulb/ballast has gone out, I believe that it was due to my crappy install (long story).

The oil from your hands gets on the glass and actually causes certain parts of the bulb to heat to a different temperature. Heat+expansion in certain areas = stress which equals explosion. Wipe that **** down or wear gloves when handling the bulb.

^^ this

I have 3 kits total 2 kits on my wrx ( lows and fogs ) and the lows on my bike. Awesome kits and good customer service too. Just be sure to get the wiring harness even If you don't go with the 55w system, the harness helps keep the HIDs from flickering while igniting.

thanks you guys have been a lot of help, I'm gonna get the kit with h7's for my car, the 35 watt set, in 6000k, and you said to get the extra wiring harness that goes to the batteries? And I will definitely wear latex gloves during my install lol...

The wiring harness will plug and play. just plug it into the socket where you current halogen bulb is. Drill a hole in the back of the headlamp housing and send the wires out and back in. the kit will come with a rubber grommet for the hole. You gotta go out and back in for the ballast because it isn't going to fit inside the housing. Once you see the kit it will all make sense.

yeah I saw the directions and my buddy has the kit on his saaburu, looks super simple, but there is a 10 dollar optional harness to go to the battery or something, do I need that?
