Hi I-club,

I would like to purchase a used or new FHI Titanium strut tower bar for my 2006 STI. This part is found on the stock JDM STIs. I have an occasional windshield creaking sound when it gets cold outside and I do not like it. The strut tower bar is said to fix it. I hope it will work.
I am located in Sacramento, CA. I am open to all offers but sincerely hope your strut tower bar is not broken and your offer reasonable. Also, I am willing to drive to meet you provided you don't live across the country. I'll be in the Southern California region in a few weeks, so if you happen to live down there, I can come on by and pick it up later.

If you're open to other strut tower bars I have the Whiteline STI Strut Tower Bar for sale. This is the one that fits the larger TMIC's.

 

I've heard that the Whiteline strut bar is supposed to clear bigger TMIC. Did you have an upgraded TMIC that you were able to clear with that strut tower bar?

I have a stock TMIC that I'm not sure if I'll ever upgrade.

 

I have the JDM STI Intercooler and it cleared that no problem at all.

I've actually never heard of anyone having clearance issues with this particular bar though.
