As you may have read in the Bay Area regional forum, my 1.8 finally took a crap. Luckily I was able to drive it home, and today me and a couple friends removed the engine.

So I'm looking for an EJ22 or EJ25. If you have one, let me know by PM or AIM @ Bufont Cranston. Some history on the engine would be nice. If it has a decent clutch attached, that would be great as well. Any details you can tell me about the engine are appreciated. Ideally, I would like to be able to swap my stuff over and throw the engine in, without having to tear it down. But let me know what you have, all offers considered, including just a 2.2 block.

Gruppe-s just got 20+ motors. Call them and see what came in

 

yeah...gruppe-s has a bunch of motors and if they ever do run low, they get a new batch of them almost every month. They usually have a nice selection of motors to choose from.

 

i have one for ya, but it's on the wrong side of the country :-/

Thanks Adam... Although the car is much lighter without an engine, the power to weight ratio suffers...

 

Well I still need an engine. I put one together but it doesn't run right, so I'm back in the market...

 

I can practically "give you" (sell it to you for practically zero $$) a running EJ18 engine with about 117k miles in about 2 weeks if you are interested. Pm me for details.
