Looking for a daily driver, 35+ mpg that i can buy from a trust worthy subaru member. Budget is around $3000. Dont really care what it is. You guys got anything? Mommy wont let me get a bike until I move out...so thats out of the question, sad face.

werd. Cost of insuring both vehicles is going to be more than the gas savings.



But for $3k you can do alright in the world of daily drivers.

Actually I can get a daily driver POS and rate it as my primary car and have the subie as a secondary car and save $40 a month

 

98 accord in great condition if you are interested..doesnt get 35+mpg tho.

I bought the accord last year when I tore my achilles as I couldnt drive a stick

 

Is it even possible to get 35+ mpgs on a car under 3k that's not a Geo Metro?

I think my dad has a Volvo S60 and a 90s Corolla that meets the under 3k criteria for sale. I'll get exact info tomorrow.
