Just outta curiosity why would you build a gc, bar it and not keep it? Not trying to be rude just wondering

 

2000 2.5rs, 4 door, complete 2004 ej257 sti swap (6 speed w/dccd, r180 rear diff), engine runs strong, 5x114.3 hub/knuckles (from 07 sti) w/ front & rear brembo brake setup, 2007 sti limited wheels painted black, lowered on BC BR racing coilovers (customer set up from BC) w/ front & rear camber plates & custom swift spring upgrade (8k/10k). Power wise it has a full tbe (grimmspeed hfc dp, blitz cbe) w/ grimmspeed 3 port ebcs. Its tuned on 100 octance & has a 91 map w/ cobb ap v3. I put a koyo r2218 race aluminum radiator w/ dual spal 1250cfm fans (stays nice and cool). It also has JDM STI Fog Light covers as well as JDM Crystal Headlamps, JDM Tail Lamp housings & V5/6 JDM front grill w/ Pink I Badge. It makes good power, turns heads & anyone who's seen it knows its not mickey mouse, the swap is clean.


Oh and the swap is Bar'd, have all smog components and will smog for next owner. I will include stock dp for future compliance.

I'll try and dig up some pics, lmk if your interested. I would like her to go to a good home, someone who knows what they are buying (enthusiast) and can appreciate a nice build w/ more potential.

 

I bought it from a friend that couldn't BAR it as it had a V5 Ej207 with Apexi Power FC and jdm harness. Ive torn the jdm stuff out along with the harness and have added everything needed to bar it as a 02 WRX since the Ej207 is similar. It has 04 6speed, brembos, 04 steering rack along with a 2.2 stroker that has mahle pistons and eagle rods. Car now has a 20g on it and am just putting the rest of the little tid bits on to complete it. I originally wanted an Evo before I bought this car and realized after buying it that I will not be happy with it since I'm more a Mitsubishi guy. If I don't sell it, I can always drive it around until someone offers me on it as its not a huge deal to get rid of lol.

 

For me its a gear head thing, i can't keep anything for too long. Honestly I have been itching to build another e30.

 

There is one on craigslist for 5k but has a coolant leak I just picked one up for 4k but has a salvaged title.... Would sell I mine so I could pic up the one on craigslist
