WTB: CF Vinyl wrap

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has some extra CF Vinyl laying around from an old project that never took off, or maybe someone has a hook up somewhere...?

I'm looking for some quality CF vinyl - enough to do a trunk (I haven't measured it out yet).

Anyone know vinyl prices? I'm debating if I should wrap the trunk, or buy some paint and use paint rollers

Let me know.
Thanks,
Carl

Paint rollers.... are you serious. WTF... that's ghetto.

You're gonna need about the same amount of material as a roof. You're looking at $150. DO a search. There's a dude on here who sells it at about the best prices you'll find.

I'll do it for you. Took about 4 seconds.

Uhh oh... please stop looking.

But in all seriousness, I'd look for a true CF trunk. Most CF wraps end up looking cheeseball.

Rolling can turn out better than spray cans, lol. Thanks for your 10 seconds of time.

A real CF trunk would be boss, but too expensive. My current trunk is wingless, and I'd rather not drill into it. Might pick up a second trunk for $50, so I'll weld up the holes, and either paint or wrap it.

At the price of new wrap, I might as well get it painted. Unless someone has some spare wrap they want to get rid of.

Carl screw paying any one.... lol buy the material and ill help you wrap that **** up. Also good quality cf patterns actually look pretty good. Just ask anyone who has seen my center console. Looks way better than that oem painted ****. And I know you dont plan to keep it on there, its just for fun. You can also text me if you want other options.

I just vinyld my trunk to cover the 5 holes from going wingless... Paid $60 for 4x4 of vinyl. Used about 85% of it. Holes barely show, unless youre close. You can barely feel em too. Almost went matte but figured the pattern on the CF would hide the holes better. Im happy with it. Local shop quoted me $250 to CF wrap it.

Body work/paint costs too much...plus, now I can pull the vinyl and put the wing back in the event i go stock to sell.

If I may ask, what brand did you get for $60? How's the quality? I still haven't measured out my trunk, but 4x4 sounds good. I'm actually going to weld up those holes (only because my friend bought a welder, lol). PM me the info if you could. Thanks!

I'll definitely keep you in mind. Might have to PM you for a price quote on some 4'x4' CF vinyl.

And Mike, if I do go with vinyl, I'll wrap it myself. I'll hit you up about the 'other options' that you mentioned o.O

And BTW, the trunk is a lot easier to be honest.
