WTB Car for Less Than 10k.
Something reliable, as the wrx isn't as reliable as it should be.
Been looking at
IS300
Camry
Prius
Civic Si
4Runner
Etc. Would consider NA rs if Headgasket has been completed. 05-07 LGT wagon if lower mileage with timing belt service completed. Preferably with black interior.

No. I just can't deal daily driving it anymore with the issues I've been having.
I wouldn't rule out a regular civic either. As boring as it is, my 08 Civic LX is awesome. Can get 40mpg and it's done everything from weekly Tahoe trips to towing my motorcycle to Thunderhill. Plus I never have to worry about it when I park it in SF at night on the weekends.

Civic for sure. I picked up a 99 to daily. I do 60 or more miles a day. 5-speed and I get 32-34 mpg depending on winter/summer gas. And thats with me doin 75-85mph to work in the mornings
You can find them all over CL for sub $5k

How about a 2002 sedan with 71k miles and mild mods? My Corolla has been a great car and much more fun than it seemed like it would be, but it's worth a bit more than my WRX right now.

From the looks of what's available on the market. I may opt for the xplan via ford and my work and pick up a new focus st. If not maybe a Camry or something. I think I'm gonna go the new route to avoid possible crap cars I may encounter.
