why? the stock intake is best and great or up to 300whp. will you get a tune for this CAI? if you get an intake please tune for it!

I hope everything works out!

Yep, the stock intake is fine for your stock turbo. When you upgrade your turbo then upgrade your Intake!

Ah, your TMIC should be fine unless your do track days or beat your car. I'm running Blouch 2.5xtr on E85 and running stock TMIC and works great. I'm running a JDM 85mm airbox and works great at 379whp on FLI's mustang dyno!

why is that? I think a CAI on a stock intake is worthless, do you think you gain power with an intake?

Some people like to be Ricer....... He has a bigger tubo so you could run a CAI and maybe get some gain. As long as your tuned for it then have at it, it's the tools who put CAI and BOV's on there car and don't get tuned. Then wonder why the car runs like ****!

Honestly bro. This is a up and down conversation, but in the end it's what u want and what ur Tuner recommended. I had a few different set-up's I got tuned for, with and without a CAI. Both ran just fine. So go with what u want and what u plan on doing in the future, cause all ur going to get here are just mixed reviews...now hurry up and get that tune so we can go hit up highway 49 soon.

well if you do run a cai i suggest a aps cause u dont have to get a tune... i personally would get one myself but that is just cause i want to make sure that im getting the most of my car and a good tune goes a long ways.. only downside is they arent carb legal but its nothing that a k&n carb sticker wont take care of.. in the end the choice is all urs cause either way you go ur gonna get arguments for and against this as you can see.. oh n if you can get a turbo inlet at the same time and get that tuned and u should feel a difference.. best of luck!

Who cares. The ricer in my LOVED my intake on my stock turbo. LOVED it. The car sounded so amazing, granted I lived in Texas at the time so I would never get in trouble for it.

I then went to an 83mm Mega Maf with my 30r and then back to stock intake with the big 20g and then now for tuning time Ed recommended a CAI.

Its his car d00dz

trust me...im not a ricer! lol if i see or hear my sti ull most likely think it was pretty much stock.

id like to keep the stock intake but what ed says goes. hes the one that has done all the work on my car and and i trust anything he says when it comes to my subi. when he says he'd like to see a cai on the car when i go to get tuned on oct 5th then come oct 5th there will be a cai on the car.

with all that said...i still need a cai.
