Im looking to buy or borrow a stock tbe. You'll be compensated for you time/trouble/part.

Ahhh, I already paid for a smog and failed because my tune disabled the MIL check... It passed visual and emissions!

I'll keep you guys in mind!

I did not know that the disabled MIL will cause it to fail. good to know.

 

yeah, the whole time i thought I was going to fail the emissions or visual...

I convinced the tech the vishnu tbe was compliant... he counted two cats, I have one.

After passing visual, I barely passed emissions 99ppm with 100ppm being the max allowable at idle.

 

if the tuner disabled it yes...but a standard Ap map will not cause any issues.

UTEC I believe will do this.

what is your EMS?

*if the CEl does not come on when you turn the ignition on, then it will fail 100% of the time

It's the XPT pro-tune... or is it that I disconnected the battery earlier that week and the ecu didn't perform the necessary tests?

question for ezekiel; you got the vishnu TBE to pass? i thought any aftermarket downpipe fails the visual? im going to run the high flow cat cobb TBE, would this pass?

i should have my cobb in a couple weeks, feel free to use my stock TBE if you are still looking, im in Palo Alto
