I have a wagon that I am going to be selling soon. I haven't had the best of luck with it interms of modding. It had a TD-06 20g and a 2.5L. Recently I had GST put everything back to stock. THe short block and heads have been rebuilt. The tranny is used from a 2.0L. I had a RA gearset tranny But I sold it. I am supposed to pick up the car today or tomorrow. Koni's are installed but I plan to try them on the Legacy that I bought.

 

So it will be a completely stock wrx? or will it have the 2.5L? How much would you be looking for and how many miles? What about it was not working out for modding?

 

It is as stock as can be. I still want to get the struts off and put on the some oem ones. The windows are tinted, JDM visors, roof rails are gone it has a tow hitch. I have some JDM fogs for it. There is a grillcraft lower grill. It's currently riding on black rota grids and Pzeros. they need to be replaced. The motor is brand new I just put three miles on it yesterday. It has centric rotors and new pads. The total miles on the chassi is like 40,000 if I remember right. Nothing in the car has that many miles as it was modded and refreshed back to stock. In terms of modding, I had a really long run of bad luck with my modding. It just got way too expensive. I quit and decided to go back to stock. If you would like a second opinion on the car. talk to the guys out a GST. I told Mike that I might have someone call him to ask him some questions about the car. I love the car. I drove it yesterday or the first time in a long time. I sure do miss it. It has to go. This is a great chance to get something fresh out of the box. You could perform the entire breakin yourself. Literally the motor has 3 miles on it as of yesterday.

 

I think I'd start by asking $16500

 

There was a black '04 WRX Wagon at auction today. I don't think it sold. It looked clean, I saw no accident damage (or repair work). It had about 30K on it. I can put in an offer for you if you like.

Windows were tinted but looked stock otherwise.

Not sure how low they'd go but it'd be worth a shot.
