hey guys looking to buy a mr2 turbo. looking to spend a MAX of 3000. so if anyone knows anyone selling one let me know please!! the cleaner the better and the lower the miles the better. main concern would no oil leaks, decent interior and decent body. Already checked craigslist and nothing to great on there.

 

Also i have already browsed mr2oc.com and mr2.com and nothing local in the price range.

 

It's going to be hard to find a clean turbo for that price range , most still go for around 5-6k

 

yea well it doesnt have to be super clean. just decent. i dont mind some paint damage or broken bumpers since i will most likly just get a full kit for the car.

 

I'd keep an eye out on MR2oc.com, good luck finding a clean one. I think the last time I saw a clean one pop up it was still going for 6-7k. When I first bought my 93 turbo back in '01 I paid 7.5k and when it was totaled in '07 my insurance gave me 7k, just wanted to give you an idea of how well the MKII retains its value. If I had the money and space for another car I'd pick up another one in a heartbeat.

 

I bought my 91 turbo in 07 for 5k fully loaded mr2 pretty clean body , when It got totaled in 2010 I got 6k for it.

 

nice what insurance company did you guys have? im still looking for a good one and im not in a rush to buy. just want to use it as a daily for a while cause i dont want my car to get me any more tickets or put any more miles on it for a while.

Mr2 is a pretty sweet car! Btw what turbo are you running with your EJ205? Any lag isuess on that set up?

 

Yeah they are a really fun car do drive , I have realized that many mr2 owners now own Subaru lol , I see a lot of people on here from mr2oc. Btw I had AAA.

 

im running an fp18g td05 on e85. there is a bit of lag but nothing to crazy. probably the biggest turbo i would run on a ej205 and not worry about massive lag. check out my garage i have my full mod list on there

I had 21st at the time, performancesw20, 93 turbo zepher blue with black roof. Aznpride650, I think I sold you my trd sways when I parted out the car, I think your brother came and picked them up from me in Daly City.
