Large street signs work well. Just make sure you obtain them legally.

true but large street signs are very hard to obtain "legally" and they're pretty heavy and thick... not a good combo for a front splitter

Are you looking for the sheet metal to be the actual splitter piece? If so I would advise against this as you'll need something extremely heavy to stop it flapping in the breeze. Personally I would hit up somewhere like Midwest sign and get some allumilite sign board and make an aluminum frame instead.

I was going to use two pieces of sheet metal and sandwich a metal tube frame in the middle it should've pretty sturdy

Not if it's aluminum framing that's why I wanted sheet metal it's thin and light much lighted than a stop sign lol

Yea it is but I still suggest Allumilite for a front splitter, it's basically the poor mans carbon!

I have a full sheet that I'll sell to you. It's like 7X4 or close to that. I also agree with the rest about fabing bracing for it
