Wtb 5x114 Stock bbs with or without tires

Anybody have some old wheels off your sti laying around? If they're silver or gunmetal or white or pretty much any color besides gold (I'm yellow... Idk about gold) you should shoot me a pm! Almost snagged a set with tires for 500 bucks but I was beat to it! Looking at wheels only on CL for 400 but I want some tires too preferably for some extra $!

(I'm well aware I'm 5x100) hub conversion or spacer adapters is the plan. Thank you! Even if you only have 1 or 2 wheels shoot me a pm maybe I can piece together a set!

Adapters are a horrible idea. The only way to do it in a correct, viable way is a hub swap. Just be aware that the cost for wheel fitment alone is just like setting a stack of cash on fire.

Well I contacted some guys running em without any problems so far. Really don't want to blow all my money on volks and don't want some heavy cast wheels either. Can anybody elaborate why adapters would be a bad idea if they spaced like 15mm?

Because you're lowering the effective wheel offset a considerable amount, which is a bad idea for good handling, driveability, and long term reliability. If you buy a +48 wheel, the offset is now +33 with spacers, and that's too low for a Subaru.

The only people that run then "well" are people who have no idea of what they are doing to their car in running them.

You're looking at $250 for spacers and $400 for wheels. You're spending the same amount you can get '04 BBS wheels for in the end.
