Post WTB: 2006 Wingless Trunk AW

I have searched endlessly to go wingless.

I know any trunk from 04 05 06 07 would work. I dont care if I have to paint it.

I would LOVE if it was Aspen white. I am at the point where I will have to buy a new from from Subaru and have it painted.

Brand new it is about $344. +~400 paint.

I do have a wingless trunk with STI wing holes in it, the shop would not solder the holes due to there being too much and the metal too thin and warping would be the result. If anyone wants it? Let me know.

I will have to buy a new one if I don't find one in the next few months.

go to a real fabricator to weld the holes, then take it to a body shop to get it filled and painted.

Where would I find someone like that? What is the difference?

Thanks for your help.

just search welding fabrication, you'll want someone who does car stuff. should cost less than $100. and take a few hours. they'll have to go slower than normal and keep cooling it because the trunk metal is so thin. you can also call a couple shops like speedelement, i bet they have a guy.

Thats SWP, so I would have to repaint for about 300-400 dollars. Not to mention the price of purchasing it. Looks like a 600-700$ price tag.

Thanks guys, but trying to straight AW.
