i dunno if they are the same of now but i have a stock 08 wrx airbox im willing to part with. so if you wanna find out ill be willing to sell.

Actually you are right except the WRXs don't have an opening for the silencer tub STi's have. The WRXs are sealed. Other than that they are the same. I have an airbox for my 08 wrx with the hole cut out. And I would be more than happy to give it to you but I need it if I need to sell the car and go back to stock.
