Pretty sure the stereo was optional on the 04 STi, so I'm looking for the piece which fills the space where the stereo goes.

Stereo was not included, period in the 04's.

Anyone with an 04 should have the piece laying around. Mine is installed in the car.

You can always order one through the dealership.

It was an option, which I figured many people got (I'm probably wrong). I'll call the dealer, but I'd rather get it from an i-clubber. Can you PM me a pic of it? Please, lol?

Cool, I'll call the dealer tomorrow (as I have no idea how much these are worth) and get back to you with price. You're in almost perfect location too.

Stereos were not an option in 04. 04's did not come with stereos. All 04's should have the delete piece.

It's the silver piece (I think re-installed it in the wrong location though). Sorry for the sun wash-out:

Thanks for the pic! I remember reading in a mag that it was an option to make the STI look like it was geared for autox/track.
