my car was totaled last week so i need a new car. luckily the insurance company let me buy it back so i'm taking all the parts i want off of it and letting the rest of the burnt up mess get hauled off to another home. i need an 04 sti. black. if anybody has any leads let me know! heres some pics of the fire:

This worries me, what was the cause of the fire?

 

i have a 04 sti. java black pearl. 5000 miles only. $23,000 comes with 18" HRE charcoal grey rims.

 

The cause was a leaking injector by the looks of it. Make sure to use new o-rings and injector seats when installing injectors or a year later this will happen haha. At least when it burnt there were flames shooting out of the hood scoop like a dragon. It was pretty sweet but I wish I got a video.

 

im selling mine... its not a "real" sti but its a full 04 swap with a built 2.5 and a 30r turbo... lmk

I bought it back for $1100. Good deal if you ask me.

 

Heck of a deal if that's all the damage. Sucks man. Good luck with the search. One of the few other cars I've seen with the Perrin front STB.
