What happened was I contacted Pluspeed66 about the rims and tires that he was selling which supposedly had 60% tread left. He told me to throw him an offer. I told him that i have sold pretty much bald 02-04 wrx stockers before in the past for $75 and i would offer him $100 for his. He told me that he wanted $200 and i replied with i cant go more then $150. Pluspeed66 told me to let him sleep on it and i did. He called me the next morning saying that he would do $150 and i agreed to that. The rims were located in Vallejo at his cousins shop or something. I went up there thinking im going to buy stock rims with 60% treadto put back onto my wagon for sale. When i was getting off the exit i let him know to call his cousin to let him know we were almost at the shop. After his cousin got there and pulled out the rims Evozero and I inspected the rims. The tread on the tires were roughly 30% tread if that. Two tires were bald on the outter edges looks like he had positive camber and one had a nail in the sidewall. No way was i going to buy these for $150 dollars and have to put new tires on them to sell my car. I called him back told him that the wheels werent what he said they were and offered $120 he said nope and hung up on me. Called his cousin who was infront of us and his cousin had to tell us no deal. There was no way i was going to buy those and put those tires on my car to sell it. Especially since it would be unsafe to drive on with a nail in the sidewall.

 

Sounds about right.


Fore reference. I sold some stock wheels for $120 and 2 of them had damn near new tires on them. 2 of them had useable tires with maybe 30-40 percent life on them. Most of the wheels were in good shape. One had paint issues. No curb age.

For $200 they better be perfect and have nearly new tires on them.

If someone lied to me. Then hung up on me and called the dude standing right in front of me I may have strongly considered punching said cousin and telling him to deliver that message.

Sounds like some B.S. My time is money and so is my gas.

Dropping to $120 sounds like a reasonable thing given the circumstances and the fact you'd have to buy new tires. I woulda offered HALF the agreed on price. LOL.

 

He actually does know what had happened he was there with me. I just want people to know that they should not do business with you. You are a shady character and a horrible salesmen. By the way you should take some english classes.
LOL I have no disrespect to his cousin , he seemed like a nice guy who was just stuck in the middle of a horrible deal. Sucks i had to waste gas and pay two toll bridges just to get screwed over.

 

Ask your cousin Billy, I was there as well.

 

Bump still looking for 02-04 stockers. Please let me know if you have some. Not looking forward to deal with you if you are anything like pluspeed66. Thanks in advance.

Sucks because I had a set that I *just* sold before you posted that you were looking for a set. Two with bad tires though, so they would have ended up costing a bit more.
