souping up your new wrx with after-market wheels? i know this sounds crazy, but i'm looking for wrx stock BBS 17s, tires or not - must be 17x7, great condition, no curb rash or dings, lo miles.

oh, and looking for a fair deal, pleeze.

WTB Stock STI BBS wheels. Unless your really looking for the WRX 5 spokes.

You may or may not want to say how much you are willing to spend. Or a ball park figure.

 

i'm after impreza wagon stock bbs wheels, not sti ... gotta be 17x7 (not 7.5), great condition (not show quality, but damn nice), as a solid spare set. am willing to spend the right money for the right wheels, given condition, miles, etc.

 

what iLikeTofu was saying is that no standard impreza came with BBS wheels. However, here are some scenarios I think you may be talking about.

1) stock 2006 and later WRX 17s
--these are not BBS
2) the 17" wheels that came on the 2002-2003 special edition WRX's
--these are not considered "stock WRX wheels"
3) STi 17" BBS wheels
--also not "stock WRX wheels"

You may also want to thonk about adding a "WTB" prefix to your thread title since most threads in regional classifieds without a "WTB" or "FS" prefix are assumed to be for sale threads, not want ro buy threads. This will help ensure that people that have what you need see your thread

 

the stock sti bbs wheels that are 17 x 7.5 will fit your wagon without rubbing. even with 225-45-17 tires. i used to run this on my wrx wagon. so just look for a set of those if you really want stock subaru bbs.

This person is probably talking about the 17x7 BBS wheels that were optional on the '02-'03 WRX (dealer option). They weren't stock or standard, but there are a few sets out there.

 

your right....im still learning myself.....he is talking about the BBS that were and option.. they look similar to the one the VW GLi's have well the 05-06 if im correct. Good Luck once again.
