WRX Intake Manifold/TGV Deletes - Wrinkle Black

This mani will swap in to an 02-05 WRX. I used Krylon's "Wrinkle Finish" black on everything and did a final cure on the paint with a high temp heat gun (400+ F).

Intake manifold has been ported and polished also. All gasket mating surfaces polished.

PM me with any questions on the setup. Thanks!

Intake manifold - $180 shipped/$160 picked up

I like the black look... if someone were to send you a wrinkle red APS CAI, turbo inlet tube and STi intake manifold, could you do the same paint/cure process? Also, could you do it to an intercooler?

Yep, shouldnt be a problem with the inlet and intake mani.

I'd rather not do it to an intercooler bc this paint may get in the way of heat transfering off those small fins of the IC.

I don't know about this paint and exhaust manifolds. I'd look in to thermal coating for those parts.

Thanks! It took me a few days just to paint/cure/paint/cure ect.

Ya I compared it to an 07 STI manifold I had here. It's the same exactly wrinkle look, but black and properly prep'd/coated/polished. O, and it's evenly painted ALL around. haha
