WRB Wingless Trunk
SOLD SOLD SOLD
Hi Guys, I sold my STI and have some leftovers -
WRB WINGLESS TRUNK. I bought this from a guy who bought it brand new and painted it. It's in great shape, no dents or dings, paint is good but needs more buffing because of some high spots/orangepeel. $350
Can meet in Sacramento/Davis/Woodland etc. Cash or Paypal

I called around to get quotes to actually fix the paint to be flawless and I'm glad it fell through because for the quality I care about it would be cheaper just to get my wing pulled and resprayed.

275 for a trunk that is far from perfect and needs more than just a "buffing" to fix is fair. As for "delivering" I would be driving 2 hours just to get to Auburn, asking him to drive a whole 35 miles isn't really asking much.

Uh, you haven't even seen the trunk, so you're just talking now...but good luck with your respray or whatever.
Bump.

Look, I really don't want to sit and argue in your thread, it's bad juju, but fact remains if there's orange peel and any hazing and it's been sitting then the paint has probably cured by now meaning that it will need a full color sanding. Any reputable shop will be hesitant to do so since they don't know how many coats were used and therefore don't know how far they can go before they burn through.
Good luck on the sale, though, and here's a free bump.
