Wilwood front BBK for 5x100 WRX
For sale I have a lightly used Wilwood W4A BBK kit with 14"x1.25" 2-piece rotors/hats, retail new is approx $2300. I picked this up a year ago to put on my Legacy GT but plans have changed for the GT since I picked up an old Legacy Turbo as a DD. They came off a 2009 WRX and have about 20k miles on them which includes a couple track days.
Specifics....
Calipers: Red 6-pot light weight casting with 4-pots drilled out, so on the outside it looks like a 6-pot, but is really a 4-pot. This kit was engineered to run with the stock Subaru master cylinder and stock rear brakes (or Brembos) and is a 4-pot to maintain the braking balance and pedal travel of the stock braking system. The calipers are in fantastic shape, super shiny and only a few small paint chips. If you wish to rebuild the calipers, it's not expensive and all the parts can be had from TCE Performance. http://www.tceperformanceproducts.com/ Radial mount brackets included.
Rotors: 2-piece aluminum hats with GT72 14"x1.25" rotors. You can probably turn the rotors and use them on the street for a few years with street pads, but I recommend replacing them prior to any track days or if you want to run more aggressive track pads. A new set of Wilwood rotors from vendors on EBay run about $500 shipped. The hats are little scratched up because they are just anodized and the rotors are a little rusty looking from sitting in the garage, but turning them will make them look new.
Pads: I have two sets of pads for these, street and track. They are used but have plenty left on them. They are Carbotechs, but recall the compounds off had. I will verify.
Misc: These come with the Wilwood SS braided lines that will work on 08+ WRX and most other Subarus. I believe the kit is missing the hat centering rings for the Subaru hubs, but those can be ordered easily from Wilwood, the part number is listed on the instruction sheet for the kit.
I got this for a great price and am willing to pass that great price on to someone. Pics will be up soon.
