First thing I would do if I bought one without one... cut a hole. Fabricate a cover held on by 3 bolts. Weld nuts on the back so you don't have to do jack crap but run the bolts in the holes. LOL!
That way you don't have to take that isht off every oil changes. LOL!
Jamison could work year round on people's projects. LOL! I've got 3 for my subaru and 2 for my caddy in my brain right now. LOL!

it awesome to have buddies like J to help out if and when they can. some fab work out tehre can get PRICEY. skidplates for example. they expensive, but not alawys the best. IMO
I'm interested in seeing your design cause i want one too. I like your thoughts Ray more coverage. Also something similar to the GT spec (louver or not) would be nice, Like others, I would prefer to open up spot allowing for oil changes more than removing the entire skid plate.

Could get expensive, but captive screws on the covers too would be excellent too LOL! But just having the nuts on the plate is already a huge benefit. I'M IN!FXT fitment can bet tested on mine if you need to. For aftermarket headers, you could just use a separate spacer, since it won't need to come off for oil changes, otherwise that would be kind of a PITA.

Hey guys I'm thinking of knocking out some skid plates if there's interest... it would be a replica of the whiteline for 02-07 wrx and sti. Should fit some foresters too. Do your fitment research. Ill make 5-15pcs. 5pcs will cost $125 each 10pcs will cost $115 each 15pcs will cost $100 each Local pickup only.
