Wanted: 05 Wagon OEM struts
Anyone have some wagon struts that are crapped out? Working condition is fine too. I need a set I can hack up to install my Koni's. Let me know.
Thanks,
Jeff

Mileage would not have mattered. I was going to chop the top off anyhow. Thanks for the offers but. I am just going to keep my appointment with AI on Fri and have it done then. Less of a headache for me. Besides $385 with alignment is pretty cherry for this this job.

Yeah Koni.I am very tempted to do it at work. I got in trouble a while back so I am a little more reserved now. At this point trying to organize it and get it set up seems like a PITA.

After I knew what I was doing, it went by pretty quickly actually. I don't have many power tools so I just some white out, a ruler, a hack saw, and a drill. After the 1st one, it went by pretty quickly. I wanted to keep my suspension as cheap as possible, and couldn't justify spending that much more to get the Konis installed.
Just mark the tube with the whiteout measuring how the Koni instructions say so and hack away trying to keep it as lined up as possible. Oh, and drilling the bottom with a small bit like Koni says makes draining the oil a lot faster. After I got the hang of it, took maybe 30-45 minutes per? If you have a sawsall it makes it a LOT faster, which I'm sure someone on here would let you borrow.

jeff....if you can't get any fast enough just take mine and replace em when you get the chance. I'm not doing anything with them for the time being. Pretty sure 04/05 is the same.
