vf39 *needs rebuild* - $125
Pulled from the car because the compressor wheel was hitting the housing.
It looks like my intake let in a bit of debris and threw it off balance.
Has minimal shaft play. (had none when it was oiled)
Has wastegate crack, can throw in brand new PnP'd turbine housing for free.
Didn't burn any oil the year that it was on my car.
It would be good if you threw on a new compressor wheel and got it rebalanced, but might as well replace the seals while you have it apart.
You can see the small nick on the top blade, I'm assuming this is what threw it off balance.
Liquid residue is from spilled coolant
