These V5 JDM WRX seats are identical to pre-version-7 JDM STI seats except they got gray suede instead of red and no STI logos.
REALLY comfortable seats that hug your body unlike anything Subaru has sold in the US! They're also a touch wider than V7+ JDM seats I think, as I fit in them absolutely perfectly (6 foot, 180 lbs) and find the newer JDM ones to be a bit too snug in some places. Good for anyone from 150 lbs to 190 lbs or so. Not only do they keep you right in place, but somehow they're much more comfortable than any USDM seat... I used to drive from San Jose to Spokane, WA (eastern side of the state, it's about a 850 mile trip one way) a few times a year and these seats were absolutely awesome for long road trips. Very surprising!
I think I was the first US owner of these
.
They'll fit any Subaru from ~ '94 to present.
The suede is worn in a few places from sliding in and out (mostly on the passenger seat, actually... I think the Japanese owner wasn't as careful). Sort of pilled up a little. I was always planning on having these reupholstered in something a little niftier w/ more ultrasuede but never got around to it.
Anyway I have no clue what these are worth these days! The Legacy is a track car now and I'd like to put some FIA certified buckets in there & take advantage of our Sparco acct, so these guys gotta go. Obviously they're pretty rare seats and they kick major ***, but they're not in perfect condition anymore so
on price.

Whoa, sorry guys! For some reason I stopped getting e-mail notifications of replies in here
There are no "sliders" for these seats or whatever. They're OEM seats just like the ones in any other Subaru. So the brackets and sliders are all built into them and they're not separate parts like with a Sparco or whatever. These seats do recline and they do slide back and forth. They'll fit in any GC8 or old Legacy up through a 2008 Subaru AFAIK. I'm pretty darn sure that Subaru hasn't changed their seat brackets for a long, long, long time and I actually do believe these would even bolt into an 87-93 Subaru as well as newer than that but not 100% sure.
Anyway, I've had offers of $500 and am waiting on a couple of dudes to come by and check them out but nobody has come yet. They're pretty much first come, first gets 'em as I'm going to immediately use this $ to put towards the FIA Homologated Sparco's that have to go in the car.
I figured they'd got for at least $500 so we're in the correct ball park! As far as I'm concerned, they should be worth more than USDM STI seats even with slight abrasions to a little bit of the suede on the passenger side seat because of how much better (and rarer) they are. But $500+ is enough to make it worth it for me to sell them
... less and I'd honestly rather keep them and put them in the mid-90's Subaru daily driver/beater my fiancee is planning on getting in the near future.
