We have a used Tial 38mm unit if anyone is interested in a new uppipe with used wastegate. We would be willing to let the combo go for $450.

is there any benefits of going with the 44mm as opposed to the 38mm if I plan on keeping the stock turbo for awhile?

Is there any benefit for the VF34 other then the extra points of rice?

so with the blocking plate you don't have to weld the internal shut?

Yes there is benefits. EWG promotes better flow and increases the turbos efficiency, allowing more boost to be run equaling more POWA!! And yes you do get the cool sound of the EWG sound

Would recommend welding the internal wastegate flapper shut so there is no chance of that thing opening, especially on high horsepower applications. But the clip/blocking plate is nice because you you ever sell the turbo then it can go back to internal wastegate.
