Car Info: 2011 STI Sedan
Tires: Continental ExtremeContact DWS 235/40ZR18
Approx 8,000 miles. Had these on my STI from its purchase in December 2011 until earlier this summer, then back on for the last couple of weeks. Ended up going for two sets of wheels, dedicated full summer and a set of winters.
These are an all-season tire well respected for all-round use, especially how well they behave in the snow for an all season tire. Lots of reviews on Subarus here on Tire Rack.
There's some compromise -- these aren't as good as a dedicated winter tire in heavy snow, and wouldn't be ideal for autocross and track days. But if you want a solid all-round tire that can keep up with some spirited driving and works much better than most all seasons for Tahoe trips, these fit the bill.
Normal wear, which isn't terribly much given the mileage.
SOLD cash picked up in Oakland or local meet.
(Those are little bits of gravel in the tread, not nails.)
