car recently has 52k freeway miles. commute from vallejo to walnut creek daily.
but assure that there is zero problems with this car....

Something looks funny about your car. I think it's the black lip and that everything that used to be black trim, is now white. Unfortunately, I was never a fan of that. I would probably not pay more than 18k for your car if I was to buy it as is.

 

I think you aren't looking close enough to the picture

The trim isn't painted white, the only thing painted white are the sideskirts

Now that I look more closely this is not true. The front under air dam below the plate holes that is usually black and the grill are both painted white. I'm not sure what effect this was for, but it looked better before imho.

actually.. im not sellin the car.. im just curious at why people sell there cars and take such a big loss on it... oh and the lip was just put on bout 2 weeks ago... when my rear valance and side skirts come in, they are all getting painted at on time... and and the front will look clean as soon as everything is all white... rpobably the very first in the bay to gettin it done that way.... thanks for the opinions though....

The reason why people take big losses on their cars is because they just want to get rid of it.

People who mod new cars like the wrx or EVO (as opposed to DSM) are either ballers with lots of money to spare, or just have no other life to spend money on. If they are ballers, they don't care much about taking a loss since they probably are selling the wrx to buy i dunno a vette or an M3.

That's my theory as to why on car forums cars always sell for cheaper than they do in classifieds.

 

its also because most people dont want to buy modded cars. its not unusual to think that something may be wrong with it because of all the "tinkering" done to it.
