That's about right considering he had little or no down payment, and did not have a car that he was upside down on. Car new goes for 35K plus taxes, and interest, it get's up there. Good luck with the sale bro, deciding on whether or not to trade in my STi for a Honda Fit Peace!!

ummm....not that simple...there's something banks add on to the price. it's called interest. and if you pay off the principle, then you don't have to pay the interest. hence, the question still stands...what's the remaining balance?

 

True, those payments account for interest over 4 years. The payoff balance is likely 2-3k lower
