Quesiton: from SPT official website, it states that
1. Inlet pipe dia. =60mm (~2.36"), stock STi muffler is 2.5" I believe;
2. "Q. Will they work on other models?
A. No, they are designed for 2002-2005MY Impreza WRX applications only."
So, it really doesn't design for USDM STi? I am interested in this muffler, but I am afraid of losing power because of this muffler. By the way, I have an 04 STi. :-)

i no the stock wrx mufflers are interchangeable with stock sti mufflers. therefore i think theyre the same size. the muffler im selling definatly fits on my 04 and im 99% positive it fits on the sti's because stock wrx mufflers fit on sti. also, when it says 2.36 inches, i think thats just an exact measurment. just like how some cars that are 2.0 liters are actually 1.94 liters or some funny number thats rounded. if the exhaust im selling really is 2.36 inches, then im pretty sure the stock sti is 2.36 as well. hope this clarifys things

I did some research and STi stock piping is 2.25", so I guess 2.36" is actually help a little if not any. One last request: can I have a picture of the back of the car with the muffler? I want to see how angled out it is when see it from straight back.
