You can actually read about it from the owner's testimony.

But basically his quarter panel was damaged during assembly and was repainted. After couple of years of rain and shine it started to have some nasty oxidation. Pictures don't show enough in detail. But his entire car was pretty oxidated. If you look closer on most of the pictures, you'll see the after was much more reflective and shiny.

touch up paint
Hey leo, I am seriously thinking about making an appointment with you for getting my sister's car detailed. Its an 05 accord. One thing I havent seen listed on your services is touch up paint restoration. there is a dime-sized scratch on the rear qtr panel of her car. Would you include service that in the detail package if I get the 4+ hour job from you?
TIA,
-Jon

Jon,
Thanks for the PM. It's actually not 'touch up paint' restoration. Really just to remove scratches and burn marks from minor collisions. If it's deep, I won't be able to do much about it, sorry. But if it's light, sure, I'll take care of you/her.

oxidation is gone as long as he take care of the car (wash/wax) on a regular basis. Man, if you think Subaru paint sucks, you should see his. Now I don't know how long he left some of the bird dropping on the car, but not only they ate through the clear coat, but it cracked the paint as well!
