damn I still can't understand how much a bike...bicycle can cost...when my roommate got his full carbon roadie for $2000, I was like wow that little thing cost that much?...my giant nrs2 was only $500 used(and I was still like thats a lot of money, although that was a super deal, bike was almost new, and current model), yours is whole 'nother beast....$4000, man my car would be much faster...even if I bought a $4000 bike I would still be slow

i just bought cryo treated rotors, and endless pads and goodridge lines for about 500 bucks brand new! i would have been more than happy to throw down another 200 for the stoptechs! =( i always read this forum when it's too late.

go figure...i posted this right after everyone bought their new brake setups.

lazybummm -- sadly enough, i don't think it's an inordinate amount to spend on a bike. i'm actually more frugal with the suby than i am with bikes.

bump for tuesday!

I haven't gotten around to taking pictures of the brakes, which are sitting in their original Stoptech boxes in my garage.

Here are some pictures of them on my car for those who have requested...

They weren't cleaned in the pics with the Volks. They were cleaned for the pic with the SSR's. I know these don't show them very clearly...my apologies for that. I'll get close-up pictures of the brakes later...
