I have an EJ257 shortblock mated to wrx heads for sale

One head needs a new spark plug seat as the previous owner tried to tap the threads and the time-cert blew out.

I'd say it's closer to a complete engine than to a longblock but there's a bunch missing.... no turbo, no piping, no accessories, no injectors, no intercooler.

All of the sensors are there, wrx harness, intake manifold throttle body, valve covers, three coils.

The shortblock was (by the DOT stamp) a usdm sti from the dealer as it doesn't have a VIN on the bell housing. The piston crowns are clean so I don't think that this has got much mileage on it.

Is 300 outlandish?

What'll you offer for the shortblock... I'm not emotional about the price nor do I really want to keep the shortblock waiting for hell to freeze over either. I'll consider trades of an ej25 sohc NA. Any other interesting trades welcome too.

I'll take whatever the shortblock is worth.
