It wont throw a CEL as we remove the EGT sensor that is prone to failing and going through your turbo and install a resistor in it's place (we give you your old uppipe and EGT back though).

There will be gains in both spool and power but on 04+ cars we would always recommend tuning due to the closed loop fueling scenario on the stock ecu.
