Snow Stravaganza - Boards, Bindings, Tires, and more

Some new gear is on the way and it's time to clean out the garage. All the gear is in good condition. I can include more pictures if necessary. I'll keep updating this thread when I have more time. Feel free to PM me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Send me your offer!

1. 2009 Burton Custom X 158 ICS - $135
It is a factory second from Burton. Burton says they are free from any structural issues and only cosmetic defects. No issues with the quality, technology, or board itself. but I looked it over and I can't see anything wrong with it cosmetically. It does have a few nicks and dings from normal use on top sheet. Base has tiny nicks that can easily be filled with wax. Board was used less than 10 times total. I rode it in 2009/2010 season and then was in storage for over a year when I tore my Achilles 2 years ago. I brought it out once last season and it still runs strong. Still has plenty of pop left and still bombs hills! Has 2 DC stomp pads currently on it.

2. 2011 Elan Inverse 155 - $85
Used this board a majority of last season. Rode less than 15 times. Elan isn't so big here in the US but they make quality boards for the European market. Here's a link to their website to get more info on the board.

INVERSE | Elan Snowboards

Was purchased brand new. Nice camber board that's pretty light and has good pop. It handled well around the mountain and in the park. I didn't do too much park riding with this but it carved real well and was stable at fast speeds. It has a Burton Stomp pad at the moment.

Some pics of both boards:

3. 2009 Burton Cartel Bindings M - $35 SOLD SOLD SOLD!

4. STI Duracon 5MT Shift **** - $30 SOLD SOLD SOLD

How about $20 for the shift ****?

Also I think there is a jam nut that is supposed to thread up and lock the shift know into place where it is "square" with the car. I could be wrong and I often am.

The burton saw one day last season. Before that it was in storage in my board bag for a year. It's been ridden less than 10 times total. I can get you more pictures of the base and the top sheet if you'd like.

I rode the Elan a majority of the season. Still in amazing shape. Rode it ~10-12 times. Most of the time all over the mountain and didn't see the park too much. I can get you more photos of that as well.

Let me know!

haha got it. Ran into snow a handful of times. I encountered everything from from fresh powder of about 5 inches or so and everything in between that, like slush, ice etc. I could cut through it and the handling was pretty predictable. There were a few times when some oversteer happened after a huge dump of snow. I would stop at a sign or a light and then proceed to make my turn and then it oversteered a bit. Nothing you couldn't correct or make it through.

Otherwise The ride quality is pretty good. Not too loud. They perform well in the snow and grip when needed. Dry handling is pretty solid for a winter tire. Treads aren't as thick anymore, so the performance may not be as great as they once were.

There was one instance with fresh ice on a slippery bridge where i slid/drifted a little bit but it was controllable. No one was safe on that bridge. This other truck ahead of me wasn't so lucky and ended up in the ditch. So im safe and came out live. Tires+Subaru AWD saved my life.

Its all good! I was going to potentially destroy it anyway trying to inlay a Subaru coin in it.
