Selling my most favorite car... 2002 wrx WRB 10.5k (how about 9k obo?)

I hope this is the proper place to post this ad. I haven't been on the i-club forums for about 5years and had to make a new account because I can't remember my old name or password. I'm pricing this car on the fairly high side in comparison to what other people are asking for. It was the first car I ever bought brand new from the dealership. I was very picky about where and who I purchased it from and believe thats why I have not had any major problems. I'm asking $10,500 firm. I want your feedback if you all think I'm asking too much. I'm in no hurry to sell it, but I also do not want this car to collect anymore dust. The WRX was my daily driver for a very long time. I replaced her with a 4runner because its more convenient for work. Now I have no time to drive it and don't really want to pay for insurance and parking anymore.

This is a one owner, clean title and tastefully modified wrx that will last forever. Has recently gone through it's 120k mile service. It's really one of the nicest wrx's out there and have been very well cared for by me. Most of the upgrades have been done around 2003-2005 Shocks, brakes, spark plugs etc.were done recently. Currently has 126xxx miles.

Email me at ynotphan@gmail.com if you are interested or have any questions and suggestions. I posted this car on this site because I know the modifications on my car can be more appreciated by the people in this forum.

unfortunately mods don't add value and in most cases hurt the value, I would list it at the KBB value for excellent condition. I entered the basics(2002 impreza wrx, 120,000 miles) and it gave me a "private party excellent value at $7650" for your car... I bought my 02 wagon 2.5 years ago with 70k on the ODO for $9000. I hope some of this info is useful.

Woa... I did not kbb the car and didn't know it was worth only 7k. I kinda thought everyone else were selling stock ones for around 8500-9k so I wanted a little bit more for the upgrades and condition. I guess 10.5 is definitely gonna have to be negotiable... Thanks for your input. It helps me out alot.

Open for discussion.... Should I remove all the upgrades? I have all the stock oem parts. And, what would it be worth? I would assume the tranny is an easy sell right?

You will make some money back by converting to stock. Most people don't want to buy a modded car and as previously stated your mods won't ad much value. I'd trade them for stock + cash and maybe put some new tires on it. Clean it up and take some good pictures!

This. If you're willing to deal with all the work, you will definitely get a better deal than selling as it. But most people don't want the headache.

If you decide to go the part-out route and make money back, I'd love to have first shot at the turbo.

Remove all your mods and sell the parts. You make way more money that way.

I appreciate the feedback guys. All those mods will take a good amount of time to reverse and I'm really not willing to do that at this time... I took the car out on a photoshoot. Check out the pictures if you got time. I will be listing it on craigslist tomorrow. I'm thinking about listing the car as-is for 9k obo. The worst that can happen is someone offers me a price that I can not accept, right???

thanks again for the feedback!
