Thanks. Same here. I wet-sanded (for hours ) and then painted it matte black not long after I bought it. IMO looks way better than the glossy red that it originally had.

Yup. Little ding/scratch on the frame. about the size of a nickel and only a couple mm deep. I bought it like that. Apparently previous owner dropped it and instead of fixing it himself and keeping title clean he reported it to his insurance and had them fix it but in the process of having his bike fixed to "like new" condition the insurance adjuster reported damage to frame to the DMV to update title status.

(that's how it was explained to me anyways and I never had any problems with the bike )

 

Fack. If I had seen this I would have bought it STAT. I am checking out a few bikes tomorrow but this would have been perfect!
