At the risk of being labelled a parade rainer, I am curious how your "distributor" is able to get away with blatantly ripping off a patent pending product as offered by an established aftermarket company that caters to the Subaru market. It's clear to me that someone was able to make a very good copy of the GrimmSpeed unit without their knowledge or permission.
I'm in no way connected to GrimmSpeed other than by having used their products on my personal vehicle, nor do I have a personal stake in seeing your for sale thread turned into a shouting match, but this seems very shady to me. Not pointing fingers at you, Speed Element, just making an observation.

S2 Industries is likely the company that makes these FOR Grimmspeed, they are just selling them under their own name.
It's the same issue with MODE Racing selling the "Cobb" short shifter under their own name. They are the ones that make them. Did you know that there is a Prova and a Cusco Accessport? Have you seen TiC's composite TGV housing pre-production group buy? I hate to tell you this but:
