New TMIC
I bought this while I was deployed only to come home to see that it was the wrong year. It fits pre 06-07 models. Never been installed. I am selling for $80 + shipping or swap for 06-07 STi TMIC. Local pickup in vacaville is possible.
The 06-07 wrx intercooler's bolts line up the same as all GD STi's. In terms of width, the 06-07 WRX i/c and all STi i/c (except the JDM) are the same width and bolt pattern.
If anything, it would make sense that it not be wide enough for your car if it fits pre 06 models.
The 06-07 intercooler is not as long (from the front to back) as previous WRX intercoolers but it is wider.

Yup, looks like the TMIC they are selling on Ebay. If I remember correctly, one side will not bolt up so you have to look at another way of securing it; no matter what year you have.
However, assuming these are super popular and people have been buying/installing them. Someone has to have some sort of advice on how they secured the TMIC.
BTW, Good price!
